Size Guide
Our size guide helps you to choose the right size of Novaguard for your dog. Dogs come in all shapes and sizes and their breed, gender and age may affect the size that will be the best fit for your dog, so we recommend checking measurements first and then comparing below for specific breed recommendations. Sizes are colour coded.
Size and weight charts are based on measurements. Breed recommendations are based on customer feedback. If you are unsure about which size to choose please contact us and let us know the breed, age and gender of your dog, and their current weight.
Where to Measure
Normal Nose Length / Long Nose Length - measure from the the tip of the dog’s nose to the mid-point of the back of the ears. Measure in a straight line and do not follow the contours of the dog’s face.
Short Nose Length - measure the head circumference around the dog’s head from the middle of the ears, down under the chin and back up to the ears.

* Please note that this size guide is based on measurements used for the Optivizor which has the same style of headrest. The length of the Novaguard will probably require shortening and may not be suitable for all shorter nosed breeds.

Assistance and Returns Policy
If you are unsure about which size to choose please contact us and let us know the breed, age and gender of your dog, and their current weight. Please also get in touch if you would like to order an additional size to compare fitting using our Sale or Return service.
We are happy to accept returns and offer a full refund for your Novaguard excluding postage if it is returned to us in as-new condition, with no modifications and nothing trimmed off or damaged. We do not mind the occasional smudge or dog hair but if no effort has been made to return in a clean condition we reserve the right to charge a £5 cleaning fee per Novaguard.
